Timeline

So, this is a work in progress. I will add to it as I gain more information and additional sources. If you have any insights into the events that will unfold shortly, please mention it in the comments section below.

Please remember that this is just a guestimate based upon the prophesies of John as found in the Book of Revelation as well as some additional research of other more modern sources. This is just a guide and is not an absolute; it is meant to be taken with a grain of salt - a huge grain of salt. I am not attempting to predict the future. I just want to look at this as one possible timeline of how the events of our time could play out. I am not representing any group or organization. I am just trying to be ready for what is coming by putting these things together sequentially according to my own understanding.

• Revelation 7:4 the 144,000 are sealed or foreordained in heaven before they are born on the earth just prior to the opening of the seventh seal.

• Revelation 8:1 the seventh seal of earth's mortal history is opened with 1/2 hour of silence in heaven. It is important to note that the silence is in heaven and not on earth. I have come to believe through my research that the half hour will be marked by increased Christian work here upon the earth, also called the time of hastening because many of the heavenly hosts have left heaven and come to earth to help make the earth ready for the Second Coming.

• 2 Peter 3:8 A thousand years are a day to God so divide 1000 by 24 hours and you get 41.67 years is an hour to God. Divide 41.67 years in half and you get 20.83 years = 1/2 hour of silence. If the calendar is correct (we use the Gregorian Calendar) and the 7th seal opened in the year 2000, then we have about six years left of the half hour of silence in heaven that marks the opening of the seventh seal. Of course there are many arguments against the accuracy of the Gregorian calendar, but none of those put it off by more than 4 years. Personally, I believe the Gregorian Calendar to be the most credible and accurate, but no matter what argument we are persuaded by none of us can disagree that the time is drawing near for which we must prepare ourselves.

• Near the end of the period of silence there will be a famine that will lead to world wide food shortages. This famine will be orchestrated largely by political forces.

• The first beast that rose from the sea (TransAtlantic Treaty of 1946 gave rise to the United Nations), will rise up to a position of world domination. This first beast is the UN. The famine that is brought about largely by political manipulation and over regulations is creating the perfect situation for someone to need to regulate the world food supply to make sure it is distributed evenly in times of crisis and who better to do this than the United Nations. They will occupy the United States of America and will control food rations through martial law using foreign troops. 

• If the period of silence in heaven and hastening on the earth ends sometime in 2021 then we can expect the United Nations to come into power about that same time.

• In order to receive your ration of food you will have to take upon you the mark of the beast. I am not sure what this is. A lot of people speculate that it will be a microchip or something akin to the EBT or food stamp "debit" card our government issues to welfare recipients. One thing I do know is that the scriptures refer to the mark of the beast as if it were a bad thing and that the people of God should not take it upon themselves because it is the equivalent of denying your faith in Christ. 

• The UN's world domination will be marked by persecutions against Christians. Church's will be shut down and missionaries called home. Heavenly Father won't stand for that for very long. They will be destroyed after only 3 1/2 years of coming into the height of their power.

• This puts us at about 2024.

• He will bring them down through the "purple plague". This plague will sweep through America and kill hundreds of thousands of people. It is not meant to for the followers of Christ so much as it is meant to free us from our oppressors. 

• Pandemics are usually brutal but are fairly short lived. It is not likely this plague would take more than six months to a year to ravage through the Americas and burn out eventually. This would put us at about 2025.

• Once we are free we will gather to build Zion and to escape the rest of the seven plagues mentioned in the scriptures.

• The second beast, the one that rises from the land, will then come into power all over the rest of the world.
